A postcard was sent out earlier this year to everyone listed on the tax registry regarding our intention to pursue the formation of a LID, a Lake Improvement District. By doing a LID we will garner a source of funds for the treatment of Big Eagle Lake’s excess algae. By anonymous ballot, the vote was 45 to 1 to pursue the formation of an ELID, Eagle Lake Improvement District.
